simply trying to solve the mystery of life...
...and figure out what to do with mine :)
i.e. ~ how to contribute to society, to the children's future, in a creative, constructive, positive, effective and joyful way(s).
"I do it for the joy it brings... 'cause I'm a joyful girl ~*~ the world owes me nothing; we owe each other the world..."

So, I wanted to add a *few* of my favorite quotes, here ~ but didn't want it to overpower and consume too much of my profile page, so I decided to just slip it in here, into my 'blog' . . . something I've never had one of. I probably won't be doing much blogg -ing, since there's just not enough time in the day for that and everything else I'd like to accomplish! But here's this:
Look at the trees, look at the birds, look at the clouds, look at the stars... and if you have eyes you will be able to see that the whole existence is joyful. Everything is simply happy. Trees are happy for no reason; they are not going to become prime ministers or presidents and they are not going to become rich and they will never have any bank balance. Look at the flowers - for no reason. It is simply unbelievable how happy flowers are. ~Osho
To be who you are is to be enough. To share who you are is to share enough. To do what you love is to do enough. There is no race to win and nothing to be proven, only dreams to be nurtured, a self to be expressed, and love to be shared.
- From a poem by Donna Newman
Never apologize for showing feeling. When you do so, you apologize for the truth. ~Benjamin Disraeli
Be what you are. This is the first step toward becoming better than you are. ~Julius Charles Hare
Well maybe it is just the time of year
Or maybe it's the time of man
I don't know who l am
But you know life is for learning
~ Joni Mitchell
Say not, 'I have found the truth,' but rather, 'I have found a truth.'
Author: Kahlil Gibran
We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love. ~Author Unknown
"The soul that can speak with its eyes can also kiss with a gaze."
--Unknown
~live in the world, yet remain above; unaffected by the world ...be
like the lotus flower~
Lotus Sutra
'practice random acts of kindness ~
~ and senseless acts of beauty'
I love those quotable cards.
And nearly any Albert Einstein quote; and, you see, I was born on his birthday, so I feel a special kinship of sorts towards him for that reason, too ;) ~ in the company of genius.
:
.
"The pursuit of truth and beauty is a sphere of activity in which we are permitted to remain children all our lives." *
"Example isn't another way to teach, it is the only way to teach." *
"The only source of knowledge is experience." *
"Human beings, vegetables, or cosmic dust, we all dance to a mysterious tune intoned in the distance by an invisible player." *
*Albert Einstein
